2008 Albany Oregon Criterium

June 20th, 2008

The roads were blocked and the helmets were strapped, when the first Albany Oregon Criterium took off on March 25, 2008. In the heart of downtown Albany, the bikers braced themselves for taking to the closed-course race. The course was roughly a mile, a mile that the racers became very well associated with as they raced around downtown. Only two incidents left some of the racers with more then just a memory of the day. The racers ranged from 12-75 in age, which made it an event not just for the professional bikers but, allowed the whole family to come out and participate.
