Mr. Nazarian’s 3rd grade class at Oak School in Albany, Oregon split up into teams to create an Discover Albany brochure. The different teams worked on the different aspects of the brochure in about a month long project and then combined their work to form the final piece. The class then took a field trip to downtown Albany, with the bus being funded by the Bus Reimbursement Program provided by the Linn County Cultural Coalition. The class came to the Albany Visitors Association to present us with their newly created brochure. They then continued their field trip, with a visit to InSpirit marketing, to learn more about the marketing profession. The field trip also included an architectural tour of downtown Albany and a visit to the Albany’s Historic Carousel and museum.
