Important Dates
1) All entries must be submitted to the AVA office at 250 Broadalbin St, Suite 110 in downtown
Albany in the Two Rivers Market by 3:00 pm Saturday, March 21, 2009.
2) Judging of the photos will take place on or about March 24..
3) Winners will be announced and awards given at a reception to be held Thurs, March 26, 2009
at the AVA office. Times tentatively scheduled from 4:30 to 6:30, with award ceremony at 6.
4) Photos will be displayed, at the discretion of contest organizers, at Two Rivers Market from
March 26 – April 30, 2009.
5) Selected photos will appear in a community art show sponsored by the Albany Arts
Commission at Albany City Hall in the summer of 2009. The show theme will be local photographers view of Albany and the surrounding community
