On Saturday, July 25, 2009 many historic homes & buildings in Albany, Oregon’s Nationally Registered Historic Districts will be open for visitors during the 32nd Annual Tour of Historic Homes. The tour will feature historic homes, the Whitespires Church, the United Presbyterian Church, the Albany Regional Museum, the Monteith House Museum and the Dentzel American Carousel Museum and Art Studio. Light refreshments will also be provided. The tour is self-guided. Visitors can tour the homes in any order they like. Transportation is by your own vehicle or by horse drawn wagon and vintage trolley, which are included in the $10 ticket price.
