The 36th Annual Christmas Parlour Tour takes you into Albany’s famous historic homes, the Nutcracker Ballet brings Tchaikovsky’s holiday classic to life, and there are great seasonal boutiques and specials for holiday shopping. Christmas Parlour Tour | 2-7 p.m., Dec. 13, 2015. Experience the sights and sounds of a Victorian Christmas when you visit historic homes and buildings on the 36th Annual Christmas Parlour Tour. Travel via horsedrawn carriage or vintage trolley; entertainment and light refreshments included. Purchase tickets at the Albany Visitors Association the day of the tour. Downtown Breakfast with Santa | 10 a.m. Dec. 12, 2015. Families can enjoy a breakfast prepared by Chef Matt Bennett of Sybaris Bistro, while Santa mingles table to table with everyone. Free Holiday Movie: “Elf” | 1:30 p.m. Dec. 12, 2015. The Albany Downtown Association and The Pix Theatre partner to show a classic Christmas movie for the whole family.
