Carriage Me BackMay 7-8, 2016
Carriage Me Back
History comes to life in this entertaining town-wide historical drama. Step back into a different era as costumed actors play out scenes in locations around town. This year Carriage Me Back lets visitors experience what Brownsville was like in 1929.

Visitors can ride in a horse-drawn carriage from the Linn County Historical Museum to the Moyer House, enjoying reenactments at stops along the way. Saturday, May 7, 2016: 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m., and 1-3:30 p.m.
Sunday, May 8, 2016: noon - 4 p.m.

Reservations recommended. For ticket reservations call the Linn County Museum, 541-466-3390. Cash or check payments only; no credit cards.

Albany Farmers' Market

Annual Upstairs Downtown Loft Tour & Wine Walk
Albany Wine Walk & Upstairs Loft Tour in Historic Downtown Albany. Over 20 wineries will be participating. This is a FREE event designed to kick of National Historic Preservation Month. 541-928-2469 www.albanydowntown.com.

Wine Walk: Admission to the Wine Walk is $15.00, which includes a Wine Walk wine glass, 5 scrip tickets (redeemable for five tastings), a handstamp, and the map participating merchants and 20+ wineries. Additonal scrip tickets are $1 each (sold in bundles of $5). Purchase tickets at: Albany Visitors Association (3rd and Broadalbin), Albany Carousel Project (503 1st Ave. W.), or the Flinn Block (222 1st Ave.), beginning at 3pm - ID required.

National Train Day 2016May 7, 2016 12-5 p.m.
National Train Day 2016
Hop on Albany's vintage trolley with Bill Maddy and Albany railroad historians for a narrated ride on historic Albany railways, The Albany Regional Museum & Albany Visitors Association will have info on train travel today & years gone by. Free with concessions available for sale. (541) 928-0911.
