Halloween In Albany Oregon

On October 25 six of western Oregon’s most well known magical entertainers will perform at the Venetian Theater, 241 1st Ave. W. The show includes Rick and Karen Rogers, Phil and Dawn Crosson, John Edsall and Steve Peterson. Doors open at 6:30 pm, showtime is at 7:00 pm. Seating is first come first served. Admission is FREE! On Saturday, October 25, 2008 downtown will be haunted by little ghouls and goblins for the annual Downtown Trick-or-Treating. We start off with the kid’s costume contest at 10:00 am at Two Rivers Market, 250 Broadalbin St. SW. Trick-or-Treating starts at 11:00 am and goes to 1:00 pm. at participating merchants-look for the orange and black balloons. Pediatric Dental Associates will again be providing treat bags with toothbrushes and tooth care products. They will be available at the Visitor’s Center in Two Rivers Market. There will be an adults-only costume ball at the Venetian Theater in downtown Albany on Friday, October 31st, from 9:00 pm to the “witching hour” of 1:00 am. Tickets are $20 per person and are available through the website http://albanymasquerade.com or at the Venetian box office, 241 1st Ave. W. There will be live music, hors d’oeuvres, and a costume contest! (Costumes are required and no alcohol will be allowed.
