  1. Just to be sure, I send hard copies of the entry form with all the info to the provided address, then email the photos? I’m confused. Thank you.

  2. Hi Cindy,
Good question! You can submit in whatever way is easiest for you. If you’d like to download the forms, type in your information on your computer, and then e-mail the forms along with your photos, that would work fine.

If you are submitting more than a couple of photos, I’d recommend either mailing or stopping by the office with your photos on a CD or thumb drive (we will return your thumb drive after the contest). Send me and e-mail or give me a call if you’d like to talk more about options!

  3. I have a photo i am thinking about submitting but it isnt technically Albany, but it is linn county (mcdowell falls) would that be appropriate or not?

  4. Yes, Sarah, please do submit it! Photos are open to any location in Oregon, so a photo of McDowell Creek Falls would be perfectly appropriate.

    Thanks for asking,

  5. Do you have any information for contest for people with disabilities. A gentleman I support is very talented with photography. We are not sure where to start.

  6. Hi Marty, While I do not have any direct knowledge of a contest geared towards those with disabilities, we would consider inviting your friend to be a “guest photographer.” We would need to review the images prior to inviting your friend to participate. If he has an online album or sample images that we could review, please send the link or samples to me at the AVA. These would need to be local Albany, Oregon or surrounding Linn County images.
