Historic Districts

Take a step back in time with Albany's four unique historic districts. The Downtown Commercial District features buildings still in use today that date from the 1880s. The Monteith and Hackleman districts are filled with lovingly-preserved churches and over 700 historic homes. The Albany Municipal Airport was the first airport in Oregon to be named to the National Register of Historic Places.
