Visitors
Welcome to Albany…
We are pleased that you came to visit our beautiful historic community. There are four historic districts on the National Register of Historic Places and over 700 historic homes and buildings. Albany has many museums and other attractions in the area which local residence would love to show you.
Throughout the year Albany is host to many events. These include free concerts each summer on the banks Willamette and Calapooia Rivers, interior tours of historic homes twice a year, the Western States Open Region BBQ Cook-off and River Gone Wild boat races, hot air balloon lift offs, a night glow, art show and sale, and the largest Veteran’s Day Celebration this side of the Mississippi River. There is something to fit everyone’s interest.
If you need help finding your way around the community or the region stop by the Albany Visitors Association or the Santiam Rest Stop Information Kiosk and let the friendly, knowledgeable staff help you with self-guided tour routes, dining choices, or lodging needs. We are pleased you chose to visit Albany and we want your stay here to be as comfortable as a visit to your grandma’s home.

The Ralston house is located on the corner of Seventh and Baker. It is an excellent example of Eastlake Stick Style with its sunbursts and stained glass windows.
