Participants are encouraged to wear their hearts on their sleeves, socks, tutus, onesies and collars to compete for best dressed awards. Enjoy either a 5K or 10K chipped-timed course.

Novak’s: The five-course Sweetheart Special at Novak’s Hungarian is available all weekend, from Friday Feb. 13-Sunday Feb. 15, and it includes traditional Hungarian delicacies you won’t find anywhere else. Paired with Malna (a non-alcoholic Hungarian drink made with organic raspberry syrup), it’s $59.99 per couple; paired with wine it’s $69.99. Reservations strongly encouraged.

A Toast to Love: Zwickelmania

Celebrate the annual one-day FREE event in Oregon when breweries open their doors to the casual and hardcore beer fans every President’s Day Weekend, falls on Feb. 13th, 2016 — from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. More than 120 breweries, both big and small, are participating with meet-the-brewer events, beer tastings and beer and chocolate pairings

• The Pix: Enjoy a great movie with a glass oflocal wine or beer and house-made snacks at the Pix. Each winter this independent theater celebrates the best movies of the year with the Pix Oscar Blitz. On Valentine’s weekend, catch the historical drama and romance “Brooklyn” and “45 Years”.
• Regal Albany 7 Cinemas: If you want to sit back with a bucket of popcorn and see a recently released blockbuster, this 7-screen movie theater in the center of Albany is your best bet.
• For the family:Take the whole family on a special outing to see Linn-Benton Community Theater’s performance featuring Dr. Seuss’s “The Cat in the Hat”! It will entertain and enlighten on Feb. 13.
• Albany Civic Theater: Murder On The Nile
