A Summertime Journey in July

Discover Albany’s Historic Charm

See Albany’s historic homes and buildings – from the inside – on the 45th Summer Tour of Historic Homes, 11 am to 5 pm on Saturday, July 27. This year, you can tour at least five beautifully preserved homes. Additionally, the Monteith House, Albany Regional Museum and other buildings will be open, including the Cumberland Church. Be sure to take a tour there and see the exciting renovation taking place!

Tickets are $15 per person at MonteithHouse.org. On tour day, bring your e-ticket to the AVA at 122 Ferry St. SW between 10 am and 4 pm to receive your tour map and wristband. There will also be tickets to purchase on tour day. Kids under 12 can join for free with a paying adult.

The Interior Tour of Historic Homes began with friends and neighbors wanting to share the beauty of Albany’s past through its architecture. It’s now organized by Albany’s Historic Interior Home Tour Committee and sponsored by the Monteith Historical Society.
