Join Froggy’s Blues Jam aka Church of Eternal Suds at Calapooia Brewing every Sunday from 3-6 PM for a fun evening of live music, food, and drinks! Bring your instrument of choice, grab a beer and a burger then jump right in and jam with the band! All ages are welcome! You can even bring your dog!
Downtown’s one-of-a-kind cocktail party, is back and is being held at Sybaris Bistro again this year!
At Mixology Madness you’ll be invited to
- Sample a wonderful assortment of creative cocktails by local mixologists on-site!
- Vote for the People’s Choice!
- Cheer for the winning bartenders!
- Enjoy full-size cocktails crafted by the contestants!
- Sample Sybaris Bistro’s amazing appetizers.
- Find great packages on the silent auction.
Tickets are $60 each and include a wristband, tasting tray, five tasting tickets, and a voting pamphlet. In addition, full-size cocktails, wine, and beer will be available for purchase. All proceeds benefit the Albany Downtown Association.

You’re invited to a weekly jam event hosted by Albany Oregon Jams at Deluxe Brewing every Monday evening! This event is a chance for local musicians of all levels looking for a place to jam in Albany Oregon.
Gathering at 5PM for those who want to work on harmonies and those who want to play acoustic instruments for the singers – think Crosby-Stills, Cowsills, Eagles, etc. The group lead will be on site starting at 4:30. Sign up for all player jam songs will start at 5:00 PM for the 5:30 jam.
The all-player jam event is currently acoustic only and is played in a round-robin style. Participants are asked to come prepared to lead 2 – 4 covers that all musicians may play. Please know your key!

Event lead Sharon Carter typically arrives around 4:30PM and attendees are welcome to arrive early to begin practice.

We have a number of game boards and card decks available in our taproom though you are welcome to bring your own.

Test out your own new games with friends before hosting your own game night this holiday season, or try out one of the games brought in by our Board Game Expert, Tom Lathos, who has never-before-played games to test out for customers.

Finding Work
Annual Career Fair
Career fairs are a great way to network and connect employers and job seekers. The LBCC career fair typically hosts over 100 booths and has over 600 attendees. You are invited to join us this year – employers register for a fee and all students and job seekers attend for free.

Blackberry Junction is a wonderful indoor show that features UNIQUE items for both your home & garden.
Thursday is presale night, and tickets are $10 at the door.

Members of Friends of Historic Albany (FOHA) will be discussing historically significant residents and structures during a one-hour walking tour through part of the Hackleman Historic District. The tour begins at 6 p.m. in front of the former Oregon Electric Railroad Depot, 133 5th Ave. SE, and will end at the Albany Regional Museum, 136 Lyon St. SW. You are welcome to stay and attend FOHA’s annual public meeting at the museum, where you can enjoy the museum’s exhibits from 7 to 8 p.m.
