Christmas Storybook Land Fundraiser!
Gigantic HO-Gauge Train Sale on August 19th and 20th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Linn County Fairgrounds in the Santiam Building in Albany.
More than 4,500 freight, passenger, and container cars; 100 engines!
Cars: $4-$20, specialty limited editions $20-$100. Athearn Engines $20-$40 and specialty/limited/Genesis $100. Quantity discounts.

Load up your dog and join The Albany Optimist Club on September 9th, 2023 for an opportunity to show off your furry friend, participate in some friendly competitions, and meet some amazing vendors. Proceeds from this event will help support the Supporting Area Veterans and The Elisted Project STEP, For Military Families, ABC House of Albany, and the Liberty House in Salem.

Annual Bridges, Bikes & Brews Festival in Scio, Oregon on Saturday, September 9, 2023.
There will be a motorcycle poker run, cornhole tournament, live music, food, vendors, local breweries, and more. Bridges, Bikes and Brews is sponsored by the Scio Event Center Organization to raise funds for a new Fairgrounds and Event Center to be built in or near Scio, Oregon.
The Linn County Lamb and Wool Fairgrounds will be open from 10 A.M. to 10 P.M. with food carts, and other vendors. The beer garden opens at 11:00 and features beverages from the Growler Café in Lebanon. There will be entertainment at the Carol Bates Stage featuring Lane Norberg, Jessie Leigh, and Huckle Buck Highway.

The Public Safety Chili Cook-Off is a community event that’s fun for the whole family and a great way to raise money for local programs!
Come and try some amazing chili!
Your entry fee includes samples of nearly 2 dozen amazing chili recipes!

Mercy House is celebrating their completed remodel and 13th anniversary by hosting its annual fundraiser on Saturday, September 16. The event will be held from 5-8 pm at 1st Hand Seconds Unique Boutique, 411 2nd Ave. W in Downtown Albany.
“Please join us for refreshments, games, silent auction, a tour of the boutique and other fun activities,” said Colleen Anderson, CEO.
Emcee for the evening will be Hannah Blicher, Mrs. Albany (Mrs. Oregon 2nd Runner-up). Music will be provided by Steve Alarcon and Katherine Riley.
“Proceeds from the fundraiser expand the resources and financial assistance we can provide to women and children at risk, added Colleen. “Ways to help include monetary donations, gift baskets, silent auction items and gift cards in increments of $5 and up.”
