Hosted by the Scio Historical Society this is a free event thanks to the Linn County Cultural Coalition! Pre-registration is strongly recommended due to limited space. Classes are designed for adults and youth ages 12+. Friday, November 15th learn about Czech and Slovakian Christmas traditions. Czech Christmas cookies will be available for purchase. Saturday, November 16th learn Czech holiday arts and crafts and bring home new ornaments to decorate your home. Classes include egg art, paper crafts, wheat weaving, and ornament making with Czech glass beads. A Czech lunch, Kolaches, and Christmas Cookies will be available for purchase on Saturday, you do not need to be attending a class to purchase a meal or baked goods. Hello, I am inquiring about your Saturday 11/16 classes. How much room you have available? I would like to bring some residents from a few group homes that I work for if possible. I see you can purchase food without doing classes, but will there be ornaments available for purchase also, or do you just have to make those yourself?
