Thompson’s Mills State Heritage Site

Located in Shedd, about a 25 minute drive from Albany, this working historic mill is free to the public. The AVA and Thompson’s Mills have  worked to help market Linn County to visitors and to create a culinary/business and attractions “food trail.”  Rangers at this State Heritage Site give free tours to individuals and groups.
