Albany-Corvallis KOA Kampground

Located just six miles southwest of Albany, the family-owned Albany/Corvallis KOA sits next to the Calapooia River just south of Highway 34. It features cabins, tent sites, and RV hookups, as well as showers, a swimming pool, miniature golf, playground, and a nature trail that winds along the banks of the nearby Calapooia River. Blue Ox RV Park

Nearby Albany’s Timber-Linn Park and the Linn County Expo Center, this year-round park has 149 RV spaces with complete hook-ups including cable, septic tank disposal connections, and trash dumpster, 30 and 50 amp hook-ups available. Cascadia State Park

This incredibly tranquil state park is located east of Sweet Home in Linn County’s Cascade foothills. It was once part of a vacation resort in the early 1900s. The campground is May-September and includes 26 primitive campsites, picnic facilities, hiking trails, fishing, handicap access, play area, and a historic soda water spring with a hand pump.

Clear Lake

Located in the eastern half of Linn County, in the Cascade Mountains. Next to the stunningly clear waters of the lake are rustic cabins and scenic campsites. A lodge offers meals and boat rentals. Within the crystal-clear waters are the remains of a submerged prehistoric forest, making the lake popular with freshwater divers.

Comfort Suites

Offering an indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi suites, a full breakfast and more, Albany’s Comfort Suites is located adjacent to the Linn County Expo Center. It has 3000 SF of meeting place and is a pet friendly facility.

Detroit Lake State Park

Located on Highway 22, 64 miles northeast of Albany. Detroit Lake’s campground offers nearly 300 sites on the shore of a forest-ringed canyon reservoir in the Cascade Mountains. The nine-mile-long lake is a popular destination for fishing, boating, and other water sports. Sightseers enjoy views of snow-capped Mt. Jefferson in the distance.

John Neal Park

On the North Santiam River near Lyons, 30 miles northeast of Albany. Fishing, floating and rafting on the wild waters of the North Santiam River are the main attractions for visitors to this 30-acre park. While camping or enjoying a picnic at John Neal, visitors can search for the park’s abundant wildlife on trails that wind through wetlands and beaver ponds.

Pioneer Park

Pioneer Park, located along a tranquil bend of the Calapooia River in the historic town of Brownsville, has been in use since the 1840s. Super 8 Motel

The Super 8 Motel offers a full breakfast to guests along with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool. It is located across from Timber-Linn Park and near the Fair & Expo Center.

U.S. Forest Service Campgrounds

The Willamette National Forest stretches throughout the eastern half of Linn County and is home to more than 70 campgrounds, six of them along the South Santiam Travel Corridor, easily accessible from Highway 20. Fernview, House Rock, Longbow, Lost Prairie, Trout Creek and Yukwah all provide campgrounds operated by Linn County Parks, in the beautiful Willamette National Forest.

Waterloo Park

Located east of Lebanon in the small community of Waterloo, on the banks of the South Santiam River. This beautiful 128-acre park provides families with a great opportunity to fish, hike, swim and relax within its shady confines. 50 campsites with water and electric hook-ups. Group and family picnicking, fishing, swimming, hiking, playground, historic education, field sports. Open spring-fall. Modest charge.

Whitcomb Creek Park

Located east of Sweet Home on the shores of Green Peter Reservoir, this 328-acre rustic county park is perfect for enjoying spectacular mountain views, bird-watching, sailing, fishing, hiking, camping and water skiing. Bring your jet ski, speed boat or fishing boat and enjoy the beautiful waters of Green Peter Reservoir.
37 campsites, no utility hook-ups. Modest charge. Open spring-fall.
