Nutria, the other dark meat – Presented by Mike Martin.   Join the Museum for a humorous and informative History Bites. March Bites will be a presentation on the stories and history of Nutria Ranching in Albany and the U.S. presented by Mike Martin, son, and grandson of nutria ranchers. This program has been built over several years and it includes photos and information on the Martins’ former ranch. Nutria were once praised as a delicacy and prized for their fur, however they are now an invasive species and major pest.
