Enjoy spirited stories of Albany’s haunted homes by lanternlight on the Monteith Historical Ghost Walk. They begin at the Monteith House, 518 2nd Ave. W., and leave every 15 minutes at 7, 7:15, 7:30, and 7:45 p.m. Tours take about 45 minutes, and each group is limited to 15 people. The cost is $5 per person, and children in strollers will be admitted free. Participants are asked to wear comfortable shoes, dress for the weather, and bring a flashlight. Registration is required and brave souls can sign up online at Monteith House, or by calling 541-220-0421. Plan to arrive a few minutes early to complete a waiver. Tours are also offered on October 23, 29, and 30.
