You are invited to attend a dedication ceremony of the Gold Star Family Memorial which will be placed in the Linn County Veterans Memorial in Timber Linn Memorial Park in Albany.
Come and show your support for the Gold Star Families who have lost loved ones.
All are welcome.
The event will be held on Memorial Day, May 27th at 11:00 AM.
For the first time ever, The Basset Hound Club of America National Specialty is coming to Albany!!
The event is taking place at the Linn County Expo Center from September 9 – September 13, 2024
This is a great dog event for families to visit and see Basset Hounds in many different events!
As the event gets closer, more specific times and details will be added but here’s some information to get you excited.
Monday – Friday: Dog show (what you sometimes see on TV)
Monday – Tuesday: Obedience and Rally
Tuesday – Wednesday: Scent Work (watch those great noses find hidden scent items!)
Wednesday: Agility (this will be all breed, so lots of dogs to watch run, jump, and generally get athletic!)
All week, there will be a lot of Bassets at the fairground, and if you ask, in all likelihood you’ll be able to say hi and pet them! There is nothing like watching a Basset Hound to brighten your day! Mark your calendars now and be sure to visit at least once during these days!
