Craft Center Lonesome Pottery Sale

The OSU Craft Center presents beautiful, handmade pottery& glass for sale at bargain prices. All pieces are handcrafted by localartisans and Craft Center members and all proceeds go to support the OSU CraftCenter (cash and check only). Linn Benton Community College “International Culture Night 2018 “

It is a free event to learn more about culture and expandglobal perspectives. 

It is a talent show and fashion show of traditionalclothing.

LBCC “OneVibe Diversity Day Celebration”
May 9 @ 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

The annual “OneVibe Diversity Day” celebration will be held at Linn-Benton Community College Wednesday, May 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the college courtyard, 6500 Pacific Blvd. SW, Albany.

The event includes musical performances by Portland’s The Urban Shaman, Gerencia Elegante of Albany, bagpiper Mark Mullaney, also from Portland, and LBCC’s own a capella group Blue Light Special.

Close to thirty campus and community groups with information on diversity and cultural engagement will surround the courtyard.

Courtyard lunch will be available for $5, or $4 for students, with proceeds benefiting LBCC’s Global Connections Club.

Masonic Cemetery Clean-up

Albany Streetcar Tour With Bill Maddy

The Albany Regional Museum will present the Albany Street Railway Historic Tour three times on Saturday May 12th, 10am, 11am, and 1pm. Tour goers will board the vintage Albany streetcar at the Musuem, 136 Lyon St, for the tour with Bill Maddy, Museum docent. He will provide a narrated ride on the historic route of the Albany Streetcars. Seating is limited and registration is required to reserve a ticket for any of the three times.
