Albany YMCA “Senor Fitness Testing”

Come test your strength, endurance, and flexibility! YMCA senior fitness testing is open to members and nonmembers free of cost. Testing includes BMI, body composition, and blood pressure analysis and interpretation. Come in for your fitness test and get a chance to talk to our certified personal trainers.

Albany YMCA “Awakening the Sage Within”

During this interactive 3 day workshop, we will introduce Sage-ing concepts including life review, forgiveness work and issues surrounding mortality. We will explore feelings about aging and the role of spiritual growth in our later years. Finally, we will begin the development of a personalized plan for our elder years, including serving others and leaving a legacy. June 1, 8 and 15th 1-3:30pm. Cost is $10

Sweet Home Ranger District “Free Fishing Day”

Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife will be stocking additional trout for the event and each
angler will have the opportunity to catch their limit of 5 fish. Fishing is allowed before and after
the event. There will also be opportunities for participants to make fish-themed ornaments at the
USDA Forest Service tent. Participants must register at the event before fishing.
