Brownsville City Wide Garage Sale @ Historic Brownsville
Jul 20 @ 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

If all your things seem to be pushing you out of house and home, you are just in time for the City Wide Garage Sale. It’s your chance to clean out your cluttered house by selling the trash and treasures you have accumulated over the years.

The City Wide Garage Sale is July 20th – 22nd, 8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.

Join your friends and neighbors in the annual ritual of barter and exchange. For $10 your sale will be promoted via a listing in the official garage sale map which is available at 7:00 a.m. the day of the sale throughout Brownsville and online via Craigs List.

The chamber advertises the sale in local newspapers, on local radio, Craig’s List, and other yard sale websites. Over the years we have had well over 3,000 customers visit Brownsville for this event.

If you don’t want to host the sale at your home or if you live outside of town, spaces on Kirk Ave are available for $10, and on Spaulding Ave for $25 per spot. With a paid application, we will mail you an advanced copy of the map the day before the start of the sale, give you access to donation trucks for St. Vincent DePaul and the use of a dumpster provided by Sweet Home Sanitation from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.

List your items on the back of the application and they will be listed on the back of the map. If you live outside the city and want to have your yard sale at your home we cannot guarantee your location will be on the map. Therefore, if you provide directions from DariMart, those directions will be included with your item-list.
