Annual Friends of the Brownsville Community Library Book Sale will be held beginning Saturday, December 1 through Saturday December 8 in the Kirk Room during normal Library hours. Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 10 – 5 pm, Thursday 1 – 7 pm and Saturday 10 – 2. All proceeds go to support the Brownsville Community Library. For information visit: Brownsville Community Library.
Rusty Hinges performs at Calapooia Brewing. Rusty Hinges grew out of the bluegrass jam circles at local festivals. Their music is a blend of traditional and contemporary bluegrass and Americana. For more information visit: Calapooia Brewing

Festival of Trees is a community event sponsored by the Brownsville Women’s Study Club which supports the Library, the Moyer House and other community causes. View some 25 decorated trees in the downtown Brownsville area businesses and place a silent auction bid to take one home! Bidding ends Saturday, December 8 at 4 pm. You are invited to the second annual South Albany High School Holiday Bazaar! This year, all proceeds from vendor registration fees will go directly to meeting the needs of the students experiencing homelessness at South Albany High. There is a full house of vendors including LOTS of food, crafts and businesses. Entry is by donation of a non-perishable food item which will be given to South Albany High families in need.
