Celebrate the end of the week and a new month with Downtown Albany VIRTUAL 1st Friday. Local businesses will have specials and entertainment and some will be live on Facebook showing cool new items available for purchase by phone or online with curbside pick up and delivery. Enjoy something yummy delivered from a local restaurant and watch the 1st Friday show. NOTICE: THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED. Be transported to another time in this annual event, where the history and hijinks of Linn County are reenacted from a different historical time every year. This year the carriage will be traveling back to 1930! Visitors may ride the carriage throughout Historic Brownsville to see some 70 costumed actors performing historical skits. Join Friends of Historic Albany (FOHA) for lots of fun, interactive, and educational topics for people of all ages to enjoy during the month of May in celebration of National Historic Preservation Month! The iCelebrate Kids Benefit Gala is a dinner/auction fundraiser to support the activities and programs of the Albany Public Schools Foundation.
