NOTICE: THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED. Be transported to another time in this annual event, where the history and hijinks of Linn County are reenacted from a different historical time every year. This year the carriage will be traveling back to 1930!  Visitors may ride the carriage throughout Historic Brownsville to see some 70 costumed actors performing historical skits.  This is a fun day for the whole family to spend in Historic Brownsville! Lucy Seward, whose father is the doctor in charge of an English sanitarium, has been attacked by some mysterious illness. Dr. Van Helsing, a specialist, believes that the girl is a victim of a vampire, a sort of ghost that goes about at night sucking blood from its victims. The vampire is at last found to be a certain Count Dracula, whose ghost is finally laid to rest in a striking and novel manner. The play is intended for all who love thrills in the theater and is appropriate for all ages. Play by John L. Balderston, Hamilton Deane, and Bram Stoker and Directed by Kayla Thomason. Additional performances June 20, 25, 26, 27.

CANCELED FOR 2020, but its always the Saturday before Father’s Day so mark your 2021 calendar now : )) The OSU Extension Linn County Master Gardeners’  Annual Albany Garden Tour is the best gardening event to get inspiration for your own garden oasis.  Tour beautiful private gardens around Albany and Linn County. From postage stamp gardens to rolling park-like acres, there will be something for everyone on the tour to enjoy.  The garden owner(s) and Master Gardeners will be at each garden to answer any questions.  Stay tuned for more information.
