Welcome to AVA’s monthly calendar of events. Take a peek and plan your stay-cation or your next visit to our region. The city’s most notable annual events include historic home tours, outdoor summer concerts and movies under the stars, and the Northwest Art and Air Festival.
*Note for event organizers: If you’d like to have your event listed on the AVA calendar, head over to our contact page and submit your event to us.
The 2021 Summer Homes Tour is set for July 31, and because of lingering Covid-19 precautions, we will once again be staying outside for an exterior view of some of Albany’s beautiful homes, their porches, and yards with a scavenger hunt too. And, like the previous summer, the tour will be free. For information visit 2021 Home Tour. Photo by Camron Settlemier.
No matter what you’re searching for, you’re sure to find it at Brownsville’s annual Antique Faire in Pioneer Park. Dozens of vendors come together with their treasures and there’s something for everyone. Brunch will be available and there’s plenty of shade and tables to relax for a while. You’ll enjoy live music and a beautiful park setting and leave with vintage goodies.

The Mid-Valley Bicycle Club Covered Bridge Bicycle Tour is a one day cycling event in the mid-Willamette Valley. The first CBBT was held in the late 1970s, and the event features route options, rest stops, food and SAG support to match a wide range of cycling interests and skill levels. 2021 will mark the 42nd time of this excellent ride. The event starts and finishes at the Timber-Linn Memorial Park just off of I-5 in Albany, Oregon. Explore the rural roads, and depending on which of the route options you choose, you’ll cross up to five historic covered bridges in the Mid-Willamette Valley. Photo by John Rodecker.
