Oregon State Art Majors are showcasing their newest paintings in an exhibition titled, “Amalgam”. The art can be viewed in person at the South Santiam Art Gallery on the Linn-Benton Community College Albany Campus from Nov 19th – Nov 30th, 2021. Drawing inspiration from the definition of Amalgam (a mixture of different elements) the featured art demonstrates the diversity of both the student artists and their styles.
Kevin Crawford, a self-taught photographer, has lived in Albany most of his life. He loves taking pictures to capture that one moment you can’t remember. This display is the first created by CHANCE to feature the artistic talent of local people in recovery.
