Join the Albany Carousel for a sensory-friendly ride!
To provide a more accepting and comfortable setting for individuals on the autism spectrum or with sensory sensitivities and their families, we will slow the carousel down to a jog and turn off the organ music.

The Albany Public Schools Foundation hosts this iSwim for Kids event. Students obtain pledges for this event and swim at South Albany Community Pool. Half of the proceeds raised (after expenses) in the iSwim for Kids event go directly back to the schools of the swimmers. The other half of the funds are distributed through our classroom grants program. These grants help enhance educational opportunities for students throughout our district.
