Welcome to AVA’s monthly calendar of events. Take a peek and plan your stay-cation or your next visit to our region. The city’s most notable annual events include historic home tours, outdoor summer concerts and movies under the stars, and the Northwest Art and Air Festival.

Dress up your little ghoul or goblin and bring them on this 1.5 hour train ride through the streets of Lebanon. This annual costume ride brings out some scary (and cute) faces. There are two rides. One at 12 pm and 2:30 pm. For tickets and information visit Santiam Excursion Trains
Put on your finest hats and robes, cloaks and capes, for a night of dancing prancing and japes. With delicious intoxicating potions and wickedly delicious food, we turn down the lights and turn up the mood. Dress to impress, jest, thrill or seduce and you might win a prize potion! Do you crave the opportunity to experience your own paranormal encounter? The VIP Experience is for you! A small group of visitors will take part in a paranormal investigation in the Monteith House and gain experience using a variety of ghost hunting equipment (approximately 2 hours 30 minutes). Saturdays and Sundays in October – Paid Train Ticket gains you access to the park where you can ride the ¼ scale train, purchase pumpkins from the Pumpkin Patch, take pictures at several photo ops, and enjoy various games and things to see throughout the park.
