Welcome to AVA’s monthly calendar of events. Take a peek and plan your stay-cation or your next visit to our region. The city’s most notable annual events include historic home tours, outdoor summer concerts and movies under the stars, and the Northwest Art and Air Festival.

TEEN STUFF all June long at the Albany Public Library!
Start June off by picking up your summer reading log! Mark off every day you read and return periodically for cool prizes!
ALL JUNE LONG – Make a button! Stop by the Teen Desk at the Main Library and make buttons! A variety of templates will be provided for pride flags, pronouns, and positive messages.
Join the Albany Carousel for a sensory-friendly ride!
To provide a more accepting and comfortable setting for individuals on the autism spectrum or with sensory sensitivities and their families, we will slow the carousel down to a jog and turn off the organ music.
It’s our hope to provide a fun and inviting space for everyone. So put on your blue and join us!
Interested in the RV lifestyle? If so, the Northwest Area Rally is for you.
Sponsored by the Family Motorcoach Association, the rally will be held June 7-11 at the Linn County Fair & Expo Center, 3700 Knox Butte Rd. E, and the public is invited to attend.
On Thursday, June 8, opening ceremonies will be held at 8:30 a.m. In attendance will be Albany Mayor Alex Johnson II and Linn County Commissioner Will Tucker, and vendors and coaches will be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. On Friday, June 9, vendors and coaches are open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, June 10, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Free admission includes access to several new and used RVs on display, as well as vendor booths displaying various RV products.
For those interested in a more immersive experience, a four-day “passport” will be available for $100 per person, which includes access to all events, meals, seminars, entertainment, ice cream
social and more at the rally. Individual day passes are available at $35 per day for Friday and Saturday and offer access to all the above.

Join in on the fun at another Living History Saturday in the cozy kitchen of the historic Monteith House in Albany, Oregon. This month, we’re learning how to make hand-dipped taper candles!
All supplies provided with your $5.00 donation, and you can take your candles home with you. Choose either the 11:30 am class or the 1:00 pm class.
Come have some fun at the Monteith House, and maybe even get a tour of this wonderful mid-1800s hub of Albany’s early days.
