Get ready for some awesome summer fun! On June 22nd, the Albany Summer Passport program will kick off at 2 different sign-up locations!
Both places will be filled with fun and excitement, perfect for kicking off your summer adventures with our Summer Passport! Check out our website for more details as we get closer to the big day.
Passports will be available for sign-up throughout the summer, June 22nd, 2024 is the kickoff date for the program. The last day of the program is August 9, one week before the Carousel Carnival. So, no matter if you live here, or are just visiting for a few days – you’re invited to participate. You may come to the AVA Office at any time and pick up a Passport and explore as much as you can during your visit to Albany.
Grab the children and head to Regal each week to watch a fun movie! Every Tuesday and Wednesday throughout the summer, Regal will be showing a movie for only $1!
After the movie, head downtown for a ride on the Carousel (Wednesday)!
A different movie will be shown each week; the same on both Tuesday and Wednesday.
It’s happy hour! Every Wednesday from 3PM-4PM at the Historic Carousel & Museum, ride tokens are just $1 and drinks in the cafe are 1/2 price, sponsored by Bish’s RV.

Worship on Wheels adapts to the fast-paced modern lifestyle, making spiritual connections more convenient and available to a diverse range of individuals. Whether through music, prayer, or interactive sessions, this mobile worship experience aims to create a meaningful and transformative encounter with faith, embracing the idea that spirituality knows no boundaries.

Join this fun event on July 17 at 6:00 PM to learn how to tie-dye a shirt! Tickets are $30, and space is limited to 20 people. Registration will be open until July 1 or until 20 attendees have registered, whichever comes first.

Greyhound Tavern presents “Western Wednesday” with line dancing led by Jamie Lee Dancing. Admission is free!

Get ready for three days of fun with concerts, FamilyLand adventures, carnival fun, 4H/FFA shows and displays, and lots of vendors. Concerts include Lonestar on Thursday, Jason Scheff (longtime lead singer of Chicago) and Tommy DeCarlo (a former lead singer for Boston) on Friday, and Chris Lane on Saturday.

River Rhythms is taking a break from Monteith Riverpark this week. Head on over to the Linn County Fair this week and catch the Lonestar concert! The concert begins at 8:30 PM. Enjoy the fair starting at 11:00 AM. If you’re a senior or military, fair admission is free on Thursday as well!
The concert is free, but reserved seating is available starting at $20.
