SHOCASE GALA – The Golden Age of Music
Don your formal attire and enjoy a classy night out! Come and hear local artists perform hits from the 1940s, 50s and 60s, then enjoy a night of Jazz from Oregon Native and Globally in-demand jazz performer, Gina Saputo. Tickets can be purchased for $15 at:

PRAx OPENS ITS DOORS
PRAx up close and personal at our all-day Open House. Explore our venues, look behind the scenes of the building, and enjoy live music, tours, art installations, the opening gallery exhibition, activities for children, and more. Meet our director and staff and discover what PRAx is all about.

DRTR (Dave Rogers, TR Gregg and Micke McDonough) uses combinations of vocal harmonies, saxophone, harmonica, guitar, keyboards, and percussion to create a musical experience that is like a fine wine served up at just the right time. If you’re visiting from out of town and are attending the Wine Walk AND are a fan of Mrs. Roper – this event is for you.
This is the first appearance of the Mrs. Ropers of Oregon in Historic Downtown Albany.
This will be a rolling stop event; if you’re working late, or have plans to meet your friends.. no worries – join up and leave as you please. Wear your brightest caftan and orange curly wig if you want!
3:30pm—Albany Carousel for a ride, photo, and then walk together to get wine glasses and tickets.
4:00pm—Corner of 1st Ave. & Ferry, pick up wine glasses, tickets and maps.
5:15ish—Back to the Corner of 1st Ave. & Ferry to meet up with more Helens and pick up tickets if needed.
Everyone over 21 is welcome to join!
Don your finest tweed attire and join us for a bicycle tour of Albany’s National Historic Districts!
This event starts at The Natty Dresser, 124 Broadalbin St SW.
Arrive by 9:30 am to enter the costume and best bike contests. The ride starts at 10 am. The tour will stop occasionally to talk about menswear and the historic buildings and sights along the way. Bring a cup if it looks like it is going to be a warm day as there will be a water break along the way.
The ride ends at the Deluxe Brewery where they will be hosting their annual Vintage Bicycle Show and Swap Meet.
Food and drink will be available for purchase at the brewery, but riders are also welcome to bring a picnic lunch to the ride, as the brewery allows outside food.
Join the Albany String Orchestra for their Spring Concert!
Pieces featured are: Vivaldi; Concerto for Four Violins in b minor,
Warlock; Capriol Suite and Jenkins; “Diamond Music” from Palladio.
The concert will be held at Albany First Christian Church on Saturday, May 11th at 3:00 PM.
Free admission and open to all.
