The popular Pie Bake-Off Contest is back! You can taste the entries for a $3 donation. Donations go toward park projects.
The Chili Cook-Off is back! Admission will be $5 per person or $10 per family (limit 6 people per family). A ticket will be provided as proof of purchase for general admission. Purchasers will use their entry ticket as a ‘voting ticket’ for the People’s Choice Award. The ticket sale profits will go toward the Sweet Home Kids Food Pak.

Samaritan Health Services will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by an open house and refreshments, on Friday, Oct. 27, from 12:30 to 6 p.m., for the new Sweet Home Medical Center, located at 1289 49th Ave. in Sweet Home. The event is open to the public. Remarks from Samaritan Health Services’ leadership will begin shortly after 12:30 p.m. A ribbon cutting, tours and refreshments will immediately follow. The completion of this facility exemplifies the commitment of so many to building a healthier community together. The 17,500-square-foot building focuses on improving access to health care with clinics offering family medicine, walk-in care and medication management as well as a retail pharmacy with a drive-up window and a helipad. Head to Wine Crush for a weekend of Food, Wine, Music, and Fun! Wine Crush will turn its back parking lot into ground zero for Crush Festival 2024!
Saturday, May 11
The fun starts at 2 pm when 6 wineries will be offering complimentary tastes of their new releases. There is no charge from 2-5 pm so settle in, sip wine and enjoy the food from the outside grill.
At 5:00 things get turned up a notch when the After Five Party begins! Sit back, and enjoy your dinner while you listen to a fantastic live band!
Dinner is served from 5 pm to 7 pm and includes two drinks (beer or wine) and an insulated steel tumbler! See details below for more info and to buy tickets.
IMPORTANT DETAILS: Wine Crush will remain open during Crush Fest for those craving pizza and conversation.
Crush Fest attendees will enter the event through the back door.
The After Parties are $25 per person.

From 1 pm to 4 pm no ticket is needed to enjoy the wineries, food and music. So head around back, grab a drink and something to eat and listen as two amazing artists take the stage: Billy Lanham with Ron Green! You don’t want to miss this treat!
