Difficulty: Moderate
Learn about the origin and identification of river rocks. Includes hiking on riverbanks and in the
river and bending while collecting rocks. Please come prepared for a day on the river, including
good footwear for wading, lunch and water. If you have it, please bring a rock identification book,
a rock hammer and a hand lens.

The Rasani Fair is Oregon’s largest premier body mind spirit holistic fair. There will be a large variety of alternative and holistic independent practitioners, high-quality artisans, creative craftsman, and more. 20 Free presentations; two at the top of each hour will be held on both days. See the lineup of inspirational speakers at www.RaSaniFair.com/speakers. A raffle will be held benefiting Family Tree Relief Nursery, our local nonprofit supporting children and their families to create a stronger healthier community.
Admission is $5 and kids 13 and under are free. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door on the days of the event. Cash is preferred, but cards are accepted.
Thai Express and N’Reeners New York Style Sandwiches will be available both days.
Open Saturday and Sunday 10 am to 5 pm
This year: on Sunday morning only from 9:30 am-9:50 am the public is invited to our outdoor drumming circle where we set the intention for the day, honor our loved ones, and drum/rattle together. Feel free to bring a rattle or drum and join in or just watch. It’s a powerful event! Held outside the Santiam building near our entrance.

DRTR (Dave Rogers, TR Gregg and Micke McDonough) uses combinations of vocal harmonies, saxophone, harmonica, guitar, keyboards, and percussion to create a musical experience that is like a fine wine served up at just the right time. The Hidden History Scavenger Hunt includes photos of Downtown architectural elements to identify. Forms, and information on how to get them, will be available on May 1st. All entries must be returned to The Natty Dresser by Thursday, May 26, 5:00 pm. All correctly completed entries will be put into a drawing for a prize. The winner will be announced May 31 on Facebook and contacted by phone. This event is part of Albany‘s celebration of National Historic Preservation Month. Happy Hunting!

First Friday- Family Craft Night
Join the Albany Regional Museum for a family-friendly craft night! Little ones and parents can enjoy hands-on activities in the community room. There will be opportunities for younger children to create old-fashioned toys such as a thaumatrope or design their own 9-square quilt. Older children can explore the exhibits.
This event is free to participate in and admission is waived during First Friday hours!
Parental supervision is required for kids 10 years and younger to participate in Family Craft Night.
