On the 1st Friday of every month, the carousel is open from 5:30-8:00 p.m., and for just $5 per person you get UNLIMITED CAROUSEL RIDES, plus a fun activity or craft for the family, along with gift shop specials and a great deal on a tasty treat at the Carousel Café! Photo by Nathan Pendley.
Join the Albany Carousel for a sensory-friendly ride!
To provide a more accepting and comfortable setting for individuals on the autism spectrum or with sensory sensitivities and their families, we will slow the carousel down to a jog and turn off the organ music.
It’s our hope to provide a fun and inviting space for everyone. So put on your blue and join us!

{SAVE THE DATES} for Hoop Jam! A 3-on-3 street basketball tournament, at the LBCC Parking Lot, on August 10-11, 2024. Hoop Jam is a great way to focus on youth, community building, and character development through an athletic venue.
They anticipate over 3,000 players and families will be enjoying all that Albany has to offer during the Hoop Jam. As is true for all of the Boys & Girls Club of Albany’s events and programs, the youth are the true benefactors.

Step right up for our annual Carnival, celebrating the 7th anniversary of the Carousel! There will be old-fashioned game booths, crazy carnival characters, specialty food vendors, face painting, unique Carousel photo booths, and a Cakewalk! Game tickets are just .25 cents each, with most games costing just 2 tickets to play!
Great, affordable fun for the whole family!
