Welcome the Market of the Strange to Brownsville in November, hosted by Hex, one of the coolest magical goods and gift shops around! Our witchy, occult, and magical vendors are coming together to offer you a harvest of delightful art, craft work, decor and more. Come out and help us celebrate the stranger side, enjoy some tasty treats, and cherish the bounty of creativity in our community.

This is an all ages event, with free admission.

Brownsville “Stand By Me” Day! @ Library Park

Since 2007, the town has hosted Stand By Me Day, a celebration of the 1986 coming-of-age film that was primarily shot in the city.

The Committee has been busy making plans and rounding up volunteers to bring you a full slate of fun!  There will be guided walking tours, a fan forum with videos, 50’s car Cruise In,  Food trucks, a visit from Ima Blueberry and, of course,  a down and dirty Blueberry Pie Eating Contest.

Join the fun between 11:00 am and 5:00 pm at Library Park in beautiful Downtown Brownsville. Check here for more information.
