The veterans memorial ride will start on Blue Ox Road by Timber-Linn Memorial Park directly following the memorial ceremony. The ride will make a stop at the Mid-Willamette Valley YMCA (3201 Pacific Blvd SW) to recognize dignitaries there before finishing at the Oregon Veterans’ Home in Lebanon (600 N 5th St). The chorus will perform patriotic, remembrance, and music of gratitude. A special thank you to our veterans, along with appreciation to firefighters who helped us through the devastating fires of September 2020 will be offered. Also, acknowledgment of those who sacrificed so much on September 11, 2001. All concerts will be virtual and available for free on the WMC YouTube channel.
Oregon State Art Majors are showcasing their newest paintings in an exhibition titled, “Amalgam”. The art can be viewed in person at the South Santiam Art Gallery on the Linn-Benton Community College Albany Campus from Nov 19th – Nov 30th, 2021. Drawing inspiration from the definition of Amalgam (a mixture of different elements) the featured art demonstrates the diversity of both the student artists and their styles.
