The largest Veterans Day Parade west of the Mississippi is Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023, in Downtown Albany. The annual parade begins its march through the streets Downtown beginning at 11 a.m.
You’ll want to line up early along the parade route. The parade starts on Pacific Boulevard and comes down the overpass to Downtown Albany on Lyon Street, then turns left onto Second Avenue, journeys to Ferry Street, where it turns left again and heads to the Linn County Courthouse.
What makes this parade unique here in the Northwest and around the country? The sheer magnitude of veterans in the parade, the number of individual entries, the number of people, cars, floats, bands and military vehicles are the heart and soul of the parade.
