Portland, Oregon family friendly music featuring Johnny Clay (The Dimes), Dave Gulick and Nat Johnson (Derby). With stylistic nods to 1970’s era Sesame Street, School House Rock, and “The Point” by Harry Nilsson, Ants Ants Ants recalls the best elements of a fun and fanciful childhood – the thrill of knocking down a tower of blocks; the fun of imagining what your dog is thinking; a make believe world where nocturnal animals meet in the park at night to play games.

Doors open at 2pm, show starts at 3pm

KIDS admission prices: Presale online $5, or at the Door day of $7

ADULTS admission prices: Presale online $10, or at the Door day of $15

About String and Shadow! String and Shadow is a performance company that creates incredible giant puppets and masks and weaves them into spectacle performances for all ages.

About Ship of Fools! String & Shadow’s 2023 show is called “Ship of Fools: A Giant Puppet Odyssey.” In it, three mimes set sail from the Port of Styx across the mythical boundary waters connecting the world of the living to the underworld. Aboard a mysteriously sentient ship, they encounter a world of beautiful and strange creatures: hermit crabs carrying houses on their backs, a ghostly humpback whale, and much more. Under layers of colorful fabric and dancing cardboard, Ship of Fools deals with themes of loss and acceptance, depicting a wondrous unknown and speaking to the power of friendship and love. It is brought to life by 3 mimes, 3 musicians, and 6 puppeteers.
