Join the Albany Carousel for a sensory-friendly ride!
To provide a more accepting and comfortable setting for individuals on the autism spectrum or with sensory sensitivities and their families, we will slow the carousel down to a jog and turn off the organ music.
It’s our hope to provide a fun and inviting space for everyone. So put on your blue and join us!
It’s happy hour! Every Wednesday from 3PM-4PM at the Historic Carousel & Museum, ride tokens are just $1 and drinks in the cafe are 1/2 price, sponsored by Bish’s RV.

Join 1st Hand Seconds on June 7th to celebrate the grand reopening of their Bridal Boutique. There is no cost for this event.
You are invited! Celebrate the diverse talent of our LGBTQIA+ community with our artist reception this coming Friday, June 7th, from 5 pm to 6:30 pm at Albany City Hall.
The works of more than 25 artists will be featured during June.
This showcase will run the entire month of June, but if you attend the First Friday reception, you will have a chance to meet the artists, speak with the Albany Arts Commission members, and partake in refreshments as you enjoy the various art.
The AAC has raised public funds to support ongoing artist receptions for First Friday downtown for the rest of 2024.
