The biggest event in Harrisburg is the Old Fashioned 4th of July celebration. Get a good nights rest on July 3rd so you can be ready for activities on July 4th that begin in the morning and do not end until the glow of fireworks fades. It doesn’t matter what day the 4th of July falls on. We always celebrate the 4th of July, on the 4th!
Harrisburg still honors our nations birthday today much the way it was done a hundred years ago–and we hopefully will be doing it the same way in another hundred years!
Food, parade, games, vendors, free entertainment and of course fireworks. Friends, family, and fun. That is what a community 4th of July should be!
